Everyone knows that there are some awesome ab exercises using no weight, but what if you want more of a challenge? If that’s the case, use these! All you need is a kettlebell, barbell, or dumbbell to get a killer ab workout using 11 of the best weighted ab exercises.
There are two main reasons for weighted ab exercises: either bodyweight exercises are too easy because you’re so incredibly strong, or you don’t have a lot of time and you want to wipe out your core as fast as possible. It could also be that you’re just plain bored with bodyweight ab exercises or that you have a more advanced training program that requires weights to hit particular ab muscles in particular ways, but I’m guessing it’s one of the first two.
